Über Uns · Our Story
Alpen Haus is rooted in the traditions of Southern Germany and in the story of its owner, Tatjana Hess.
Tatjana was born in Germany and moved to the United States at the age of eight with her parents, but her family's roots in the region go back generations. Her family tree traces hundreds of years through Baden-Württemberg, with deep ties to the towns of Waiblingen and Schwäbisch Hall near Stuttgart. Many of the recipes served at Alpen Haus have been passed down through her family for generations.
Those traditions were carried across the Atlantic — through family recipes, gatherings around the table, and the everyday culture of Southern Germany that shaped Tatjana's upbringing.
At Alpen Haus, those roots come to life in the food, the beer, and the atmosphere. The menu reflects two of Southern Germany's most beloved culinary traditions: the hearty Swabian dishes of Stuttgart and the iconic Bavarian flavors of Munich. Together, they form the foundation of Alpen Haus — a place built on heritage, hospitality, and the spirit of the German bierhalle.

The Golf Lodge
Four Trackman simulators with access to 400+ of the world's greatest courses — St Andrews, Pebble Beach, Bethpage Black, and beyond. Every bay includes the Trackman MultiSport add-on, bringing baseball, football, hockey, dodgeball, and more to the screen — so whether you golf or not, there's something for everyone. Train your game, host a corporate outing, or just have a blast with friends over cold German beer and a full menu.
